Esmat Trains Magistrates And Civil Servers In Course On Basic Life Support

On Tuesday (April 28th), the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) held the first class of the course on Basic Life Support and First Aid at the District Forum of Miracema.

The training, given by facilitators Bruno Ribeiro Rocha and Elaine Cristina Ferreira, aimed to train civil servers and magistrates from the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins on the appropriate way to act in situations that require immediate help, until the Health Service arrives.

The course covered topics such as First Aid in Cases of Fainting, Convulsions, Choking, Bleeding and Burns, among others.

About the facilitators

Elaine Cristina Ferreira has a degree in Medicine from the University of the city of Marília and specializes in Cardiology from the Heart Institute (Incor/SP), the Brazilian Society of Cardiology and AMB. The facilitator, Bruno Ribeiro Rocha, has a degree in Nursing from Lutheran University Center of Palmas and a post-graduate degree in Urgency and Emergency, Clinical Oncology and General Intensive Care from CGESP.
