Esmat Promotes New Training Course For Restorative Facilitators

From April 11th to July 11th, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) will hold the Training of Restorative Facilitators - Class VI - with a 70-hour workload and 30 places distributed according to the recommendations of the Cejuscs of the regional centers and the coordination of Nupemec.

Under the coordination of Judge Silvana Maria Parfieniuk, the purpose of the training is to enable facilitators to work with Restorative Justice practices in school, community and judicial environments, strengthening dialog, co-responsibility and social bonds. The training structure includes theoretical and practical stages, including a supervised internship with Peacebuilding Circles.

Aimed at magistrates, civil servers of the Judiciary, members of the Justice System and members of civil society, the course is in line with the Resolution 225 of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) of 2016, which establishes the guidelines for the Restorative Justice in Brazil.
