The course on "Theoretical and Practical Aspects of Criminal Procedural Law", aimed at magistrates and servers of the Judicial Power of the State of Tocantins who work in the Courts and Criminal Chambers, had its first meeting held on Wednesday (October 30th) at the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat). With a workload of 16 class hours, the course will end on November 1st.
The activities taught by Professor Fábio Roque da Silva Araújo aim to address in depth the main aspects and updates of relevant topics in the field of Criminal Procedural Law, providing a critical and practical understanding of recent legislative and jurisprudential changes.
The first training meeting dealt with topics such as theory of imprisonment, prison immunities, use of force and handcuffs, arrest warrant, rights and guarantees of the prisoner, among other subjects.
