Judicial Rehabilitation Course in distance education modality has enrollments extended

Registrations for the Judicial Reorganization course were extended until July 24th. The course will be offered in the distance learning modality, via Virtual Learning Environment (AVA), and takes place from August 5th to October 13th. The objective is to provide magistrates with the appropriation of the logical, legal and economic foundations of the legal systems of judicial recovery and bankruptcy. Vacancies are also available to magistrates from other Brazilian states.

40 vacancies are being offered; of these, 25 to magistrates from other states. With a duration of 78 hours and divided into nine modules, the course will be taught by Professor Daniel Carnio Costa, Judge of the 1st Bankruptcy and Judicial Reorganizations Court of São Paulo. The course received the recognition from the National School of Training and Improvement of Magistrates Minister Sálvio de Figueiredo Teixeira (ENFAM) and is valid for two years.

Esmat Virtual Learning Environment will enable interactivity between students and teachers, during all the course, through forums and chats, as well as access to vídeo classes, didactic material, links and other tools that will assist in the teaching-learning process.

 

About the teachers:

Daniel Carnio Costa has a master’s degree in Comparative Law from Samford University (USA) and a doctorate from PUC / SP. Post-Doctorate, from the University of Paris 1 – Panthéon / Sorbonne (without a thesis). Professor at the Department of Commercial Law at PUC / SP. Founding President of the National Forum of Business Competence Judges (FONAJEM). Member of São Paulo Law Academy. Member of Magistrates Paulista Academy. Author of several books and articles published in Brazil and abroad.

Roniclay Alves de Morais has a master’s degree in Juridisctional Provision and Human Rights, from the Federal University of Tocantins. He holds a Lato Sensu Post-Graduation in Criminal Sciences, from the University of the South of Santa Catarina, and in the Rule of Law and Fight against Corruption, from Esmat. Head judge of the 1st Public Finance Court of the District of Palmas. He acted as a Secretary of Human Rights and Citizenship of the Association of Brazilian Magistrates (AMB). Professor at School of Judges of Tocantins (ESMAT). Member of the Editorial Board of Esmat. He is currently the coordinator of the District Support Center for Justice Court of Tocantins (NACOM).
