As a preventive measure and in compliance with sanitary regulations regarding the confrontation of the global Coronavirus pandemic, the Non-Violent Communication course, promoted by the School of Judges of Tocantins (ESMAT), had its schedule of activities, provided for the beginning of June, postponed for the 15th to the 18th of September 2020.
With a 20 hours classload, per class, 12 theoretical hours and 8 practical hours will be taught. The course will address topics as Empathy and Emotional Intelligence, Case Studies, Didactic Theater, Research on Communication (Non-Verbal Communication (CNV); The Architecture of the Message; The Essence of Non-Verbal Communication (CNV), Empathic Listening, Authenticity, among others.
Classes will be taught by Professor Sven Fröhlich-Archangelo and by the codocent Julianne Freire Marques. The course proposal is to address issues such as communication / relationship / mediation and conflict resolution / emotional intelligence: Nonviolent Communication is a way to express itself in a true and assertive way and that increases the willingness to cooperate and support each other.
About the Professors:
SvenFröhlich – International facilitator of Non-Violent Communication and Intercultural Communication; conflict mediator. For 20 years he has worked as a coach and freelance consultant in companies and institutions. Manager of the Didactic Studies Center, in Göttingen – Germany – for 3 years. Speaker at seminars at the University of Humboldt in Berlin, at the Technical University of Dresden and at the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich.
Julianne Freire Marques – Master in Jurisdictional Provision and Human Rights, by the Federal University of Tocantins and by the School of Judges of Tocantins, 2015. Graduated in Law, by the University of Tocantins, 1998. Magistrate at the Justice Court of the State of Tocantins; holder of the Special Court for Children and Youth of Araguaína District / TO. Restorative Circle Facilitator. General Secretary of the Association of Brazilian Magistrates (AMB).
