People Management and Leadership Course - Class IV starts its classes in virtual mode

With the proposal to develop the competence of People Management to promote skills in applying methods, policies, techniques and practices, defined with theoretical and practical content on the main aspects and tools of leadership and quality of life at work, the Superior School of Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) began on Monday (5th), the People Management and Leadership course - Class IV.

With a 20 hours class load, the course runs until April 20th and is intended for public servers (permanent or commissioned) and magistrates of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins. The classes are in the Distance Learning modality, in Esmat's Virtual Learning Environment (AVA) and Zoom Platform. For Graziely Nunes Barbosa Barros, support coordinator of the Internal Procedures' Office, the course on People Management and Leadership is of great importance in the current scenario of the Court of Justice. "It is essential that we make assertive choices to achieve the expected results, in order to motivate our employees and get the best out of them. In times of remote work, mastering management and leadership techniques will contribute a lot to continue with a good judicial provision. Certainly, at the end of this course, we will be much more enriched to apply the knowledge with the other members of our team", he said.

Among the specific objectives of the course are: To acquire skills in the technique of managing people, understanding the concept of boss, manager, and leader, with a focus on practice; To perceive personal and professional growth as a continuous process; To promote awareness about the need for the leader to keep himself in a constant development process and provide it to his team, among others.
