First day of course on Elaboration of Sentences gathers magistrates and advisors from the Judiciary Power of the State of Tocantins

The course on Elaboration of Sentences – Part I started this Monday morning (26th), and will last until October 19th. Promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), the training aims to learn the necessary tools to improve the writing of sentences in the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins.

With a class load of 40 hours, the course will be given by the professors Osvaci Amaro Venâncio Júnior and Patrícia Medina. Enthusiastic about the training, the legal advisor of the 1st instance, Vítor Abreu de Sousa, highlighted the importance of the training to improve the writing of sentences.

 “The course is an opportunity for the improvement of the notions of sentence writing. This great initiative by Esmat will contribute to the enrichment of the proper legal language”, he commented.

The development of the programmatic content of the training will occur through actions that stimulate the reflection of the students. So, divided into two modules, the course will cover topics related to the grammatical aspects of sentence elaboration, as well as the standardization of sentences according to ABNT norms.
