The results achieved by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) in the field of judicial training and pedagogical innovation were presented by the general director of the institution, the Doctor Professor and Justice Marco Villas Boas, during participation in the 84th Meeting of the National Council of Schools of Labor Magistracy (Conematra), held in the city of Palmas (TO).
The exhibition took place on the afternoon of Thursday (12th), in the auditorium of the Federal Justice of the state of Tocantins, where the magistrate shared the experience developed by the School of the state of Tocantins in the scope of the training of professionals of the Law and the qualification of the judicial provision.
In his speech, the justice presented the lecture on "Getting to know the Legal Residency Program of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins", highlighting the pedagogical model developed by Esmat as an innovative experience in the training of legal professionals and in the qualification of judicial services.
The initiative combines theoretical and supervised practical training in the context of the Judiciary, allowing graduates with a degree in Law to work directly in judicial units while studying specialization in judicial practice.
The doctor professor also emphasized the role of judicial schools as superior education institutions committed to the continuous training of magistrates and civil servers, highlighting the importance of academic partnerships and the appreciation of the institutional framework itself as a faculty.
According to him, the model of schools of government consolidates a pedagogical logic based on professional experience and training in pairs, synthesized in the idea that "judge makes judge", the principle guiding training programs and courses for trainers in the framework of schools of the judges.
“In schools of magistracy, the magistrate himself is an essential part of the training process. It is the experience of the jurisdiction that forms new educators and strengthens the quality of Justice," he said.
