The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) starts the second semester of 2025 with an important update in its teaching infrastructure: the new version of the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA), Moodle platform, is now available.
With more than 250 improvements implemented, the platform gains new features aimed at personalizing the experience of the user, pedagogical efficiency and strategic use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The highlight of the new version is the incorporation of an AI subsystem compatible with multiple providers, such as OpenAI, Azure and LocalAI. The technology can be used to generate texts and images, support students with automatic abstracts and assist professors in creating educational content, always maintaining the principles of security, traceability and transparency. Among the other improvements, are:
- Organization by subsections, which facilitates the navigation and monitoring of courses;
- New interface of the assignment activity, with possibility of a continuous feedback between professors and students;
- Improved badge system;
- Easy media integration, including screen recording directly in the editor;
- More efficient notification system, allowing participants to follow deadlines and warnings more easily.
The news accompanies the commitment of Esmat to keep the innovation process active, through a more accessible, dynamic and connected to the current challenges of the Justice System.
