"I loved it! I took advantage of the time I was lying there and even took a little nap," said Sebastião Ribamar Queiroz da Luz, a member of the ceremonial team at the Communication Center (Cecom) who has been working at the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) for almost 15 years, with a shy smile, noting that this was the first time in almost 25 years in the justice system (ten years at the TRE-TO) that he had taken part in a self-care initiative.
The statement came after Tiãozinho - as he is affectionately known - held a session of the workshop on "Radiant Skin: cosmetics for the face and body" during the IX Health Week of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, which ended this Friday (August 9th).
The aim of the initiative, which began last Wednesday (August 7th), is to encourage reflection on the importance of self-care and maintain physical, mental and spiritual health. To this end, various actions and lectures were offered on a variety of subjects aimed at balancing work and personal life, with a focus on the quality of life of male and female civil servers, magistrates, employees and trainees.
"I'm realizing that I need to focus more on self-care. And the Health Week fitted perfectly into this phase and I tried to make the most of it. I had a massage, took part in the talks, it was really a time to look after myself. And it was an excellent opportunity to have this kind of project here at the Court because the civil server has several roles, but taking care of yourself is also very necessary," emphasized Sandra Barreira, who works in the Precatories sector.
For the coordinator of the Health Center (Cesau), cardiologist Elaine Cristina Ferreira, the turnout was very good. "We're closing the Week on a high note. We had an innovation this year with massage therapy and our accredited physiotherapists, so all the civil servers had the opportunity and it was a success," she said. According to her, the result was super positive, the FEEDBACK from the magistrates and civil servers, especially in relation to the lecture of Rossandro, was very good.
"Everyone praised it and that's very gratifying. We also worked on other important topics such as image, food and emotion, where we had a surprising result. Not to mention the work done by the entire Cesau team and the availability of all the partners involved, to whom we are immensely grateful. Now we have to prepare for the next edition," she said.
The event was organized by the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins (PJTO), through the Health Center (Cesau), in partnership with the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat).
Inovation
With the aim of serving as many civil servers as possible, this year, in addition to take place at the Court of Justice, the activities were distributed in other locations, such as the Forum of the city of Palmas and in 15 districts in the countryside, which were treated to manual therapies during the Health Week with physiotherapy accredited professionals.
"Health Week is of a very high standard. This year we added massage therapy services to the courts in the countryside, as well as at the Forum here in the city of Palmas. So it was something we didn't have in previous weeks and we were able to expand the Week so that more civil servers could be benefited," said the coordinator of Cesau Elaine Ferreira.
Girlane Dorxa is one of the accredited physiotherapists who worked at the TJ and she said that all the time schedules were full throughout the event. "We worked with manual techniques such as massage therapy, SHIATZU, joint mobilization, myofascial release and nodule resolution. We also use cupping therapy, points on the feet to relax the muscles, various techniques making up a set of manual therapies that help patients relax and, consequently, work better," she explained.
Closing Lecture
“Healthy eating" was the theme addressed by nutritionist Priscilla Evan on the last day of the action. Tips on healthy eating, food organization and planning, and the social function of meals, were some of the topics covered by the nutritionist.
"Organizing in a way that is feasible for everyone is not an expense, it's an investment in health. We also have to think that food isn't just about nourishment, it has a social function, which is to involve people. Having a pasta night with your husband, you can talk about things you can't at other times. There are days when we come home from work and want to eat a chocolate cake or the child wants to eat a fruit salad - which is the dream of every nutritionist...lol - so involving the child in this activity, in making this meal, activates our well-being and heightens our senses. Generally, the emotional memories of childhood come from cooking at grandma's house, at mom's house. So, it's very important to involve the family in the eating process and in a healthy way, even better, all it takes is strategy and turning a switch," said nutritionist Priscilla.
Partnersgip that works
The work of the partners was essential to the success of the event. "The meeting between the “Pague Menos” (Pay Less) pharmacy and the Court of Justice here enables not only the company, but the pharmaceutical service as well as the clinical pharmacist. The importance of pharmacists in the State of Tocantins and throughout Brazil. In other words, we're not just going to stand behind the counter. We're also going to go through this and deliver our services to the public, because here we are in the public too. It's not just because it's in the Court of Justice that it's them. So we're trying to leverage these services to show the public what they don't have access to and what they can access more easily, both inside the pharmacy and in these areas that we're working in," said pharmacist Magno Rogério Silva Correia Júnior.
This is the second time that Bioage beautician Giltânia Neves has taken part in the event. "I'm already feeling at home, I can say that. The staff really enjoyed it," said Giltânia. "And this also generates sales for us because many people who didn't know the brand are already approving it and saying they're going to the store to see more products. It's a very good return, where everyone wins," added beautician Paloma Araújo.
"I took part in the eye test, the message and the bioimpedance test. I didn't know I had an eye problem and here I could see that I have a problem and they referred me to the doctor. Otherwise, everything went well. If I hadn't taken part, I wouldn't even have known about this eye problem, so this event was very important," said Erislaine Lima Moura, a court services worker.
