With deep regret, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) announces the death of retired Judge Adelina Maria Gurak, in the early hours of Friday morning (August 9th), in the city of Curitiba (PR), at the age of 67.
A retired Judge since July 1st, 2016, Adelina Gurak leaves a great legacy and contribution to the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins. She joined the judiciary in the State of Tocantins in September of 1989, working in the courts of Alvorada, Araguaína, Araguacema, Miranorte and Palmas.
She was a member of the Regional Electoral Court (TRE-TO) and also worked as an auxiliary Judge of the General Internal Affairs of Justice of the State of Tocantins (CGJUS). In February of 2011, she was summoned by the Court of Justice to act as a substitute Judge, becoming a Judge in the second degree of jurisdiction.
At this time of grief, we sympathize with her family and friends, wishing them comfort and peace.
