Representatives of Judicial and Magistracy Schools from all regions of Brazil met at the headquarters of the National School for Training and Improvement of Judges (ENFAM), in Brasilia, for the annual meeting with the direction and coordination of schools and to launch the National Network of Judicial and Magistracy Schools (RENEJUM). The opening ceremony was attended by Minister Mauro Campbell Marques, General Director of Enfam. The program continues until Friday (3rd).
The event intends to improve networking, focusing on specific situations in the educational context, such as administrative, pedagogical, and academic management, among other actions that demand competencies from the management and technical-pedagogical teams, aiming at the integration and articulation of knowledge, pedagogical, and administrative resources, with special attention to the judicial education professionals of the country.
On the occasion, Justice Marco Villas Boas, General Director of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), recalled the adaptation process of the schools of magistracy during the pandemic. "The Covid-19 pandemic forced us to migrate to digital without a culture of transformation, to innovate without a mature culture of innovation in our institutions, and we know that this is a transversal process that impacts the institution as a whole, from the highest leadership to the lowest ranking servers, and that it must be done in an intelligent, inclusive, participative, and cooperative way," he said.
About the future activities promoted by Enfam together with the State Schools of Magistracy, the Justice reinforced the dialogue among Enfam and the other formation organs of magistrates. "In the advancement of this dialogue that we have maintained with the colleges that bring together the schools and other institutions, we have the perspective of improving the provision of justice always focusing on the human dimension, on the guarantee of fundamental rights, on the maturing of our democratic process, our fundamental and also institutional guarantees so that we may have stability and the possibility of improving the life of our community," he stated.

During the opening of the event, an Ordinance that creates the National Network of Judicial and Magistracy Schools (RENEJUM) was signed. Among its attributions, it will be responsible for the promotion of studies, researches, projects, and joint works, aimed at the implementation of normative acts and public policies in the scope of the Judiciary; the sharing of good practices, knowledge, and information regarding judicial education and innovation in the justice system; the socialization of innovative and sustainable initiatives regarding educational management, curriculum, and assessment within the scope of the education of the members of the Judiciary; as well as the development of collaborative strategies and actions aimed at the excellence of the jurisdictional protection provided, converging the improvement actions promoted among its members.
