The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) will hold, on November 26th, 2021, the I Environmental Seminar of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins. The event intends to reflect jointly with social entities responsible for the environmental issue on the regulatory framework of environmental law and its current controversies.
Those interested in participating in the event will have until November 26th, 2021 to register. In all, one thousand vacancies will be available for Judges, magistrates, employees, and servers of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins and the community in general.
With a 6 hour workload, during the Seminar themes will be presented, such as: Public Policies for Ecological Biodiversity and Sustainable Development: challenges and solutions; The challenge of implementing public policies for sustainability; Environmental Liabilities in the State of Tocantins: challenges and opportunities; Sustainable Logistic Plano f the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins: Sustainability in Practice.
The event is one of the actions of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins to meet the Target 12 of the National Council of Justice (first instance), and will take place remotely through Esmat’s Virtual Platform.

About the lecturers:
Ramis Tetu
Agronomic Engineer, from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture - Esalq/USP. Specialist in Urban and Environmental Planning from the Federal University of the State of Tocantins. Partner-Director of Developing of Landscaping and Environment Ltda. He has been active for 33 years in the State of Tocantins in projects, consulting, seedling production, and landscaping, urban forestation, environmental recovery, and soil and water conservation. Sustainability columnist for CBN Tocantins Radio and Tocantins News, since 2011. Consultant and speaker on various topics in this area.
Renato Jayme da Silva
Current President of Naturatins. Administrator, public server of the State Legislative Power. Administration Professor and consultant in the area of Strategy and Quality and Process Management Systems. In the public sphere, he has accumulated experiences in the Executive Branch of the Government of the State of Tocantins, as the President of the Child Pioneers Foundation; Undersecretary and Secretary of Health (SES) and Secretary of Environment and Water Resources (SEMARH). Specialist in Political Science, Scientific Research, Administration and Teaching Planning. PhD candidate in Social Psychology at the University of Barcelona/ES. He was the first president of the Regional Administration Council of the State of Tocantins (CRA/TO), and in the Federal Administration Council (CFA) he chaired the Strategic Planning Commission, besides having acted as the PMBOK Office director and general ombudsman of the CFA/CRAs system. In the business sector, he served on the Board of Directors of the Palmas Commercial and Business Association (ACIPA).
José Maria da Silva Junior
Graduated in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of the State of Goiás, 1989. Specialist in Civil Procedural Law from Tiradentes University, 1996. Specialist in Administration and Planning for Teachers, by Lutheran University of Brazil, 2000. Master in Environmental Sciences from the Federal University of Tocantins Foundation, 2005. He has experience in the area of Law, with emphasis in Public Law.
Leila Maria de Souza Jardim
Master in Jurisdictional Provision and Human Rights, position/function: judicial technician in the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins. Graduated in Superior Normal, from the University of the State of Tocantins (UNITINS), 2004. Specialist in Judicial Management - Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins, 2011, by Educational College of Lapa (FAEL). Graduated in Law, from the University Center (UNIRG), 2013. Master in Jurisdictional Provision and Human Rights, from the Federal University of the State of Tocantins, 2016. Judicial technician of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, located in the Coordination of Socio-environmental Management and Social Responsibility of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins. Member of the Steering Committee of the Sustainable Logistical Plan of the PJTO and the Commission for Accessibility and Inclusion. She has experience in the planning and execution of socio-environmental projects in the areas of Law, Education and Public Administration.
Daniel Iglesias de Carvalho
Undergraduate professor of Civil Engineering at the Federal University of the State of Tocantins (UFT) and at the Lutheran University Center of Palmas (ULBRA). Graduated in Civil Engineering, from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, 2000. Specialist in Higher Education Teaching. Master in Environmental Engineering, from the Federal University of the State of Tocantins (UFT), and he is finishing his PhD in Structures with Research in Railway Bridges, at the University of Porto. He has experience in the area of Civil Engineering, with emphasis on Construction Processes, Structures, Bridges and Viaducts. He is the coordinator of the research project on Bridges and Viaducts at the Federal University of the State of Tocantins (UFT).
Wolldson Vilarindo Gomes
Bachelor's Degree in Law, Catholic University of the State of Tocantins, 2013. Lawyer (OABTO 6.913). Specialist in Environmental Law, with MBA in Agribusiness Strategy Management. He currently occupies the chair of the Environmental Law Commission of the OAB-TO. He was an Environmental Inspection Agent for the Nature Institute of the State of Tocantins (NATURATINS). He has courses in Environmental Expert, Judicial Expert and Labor Security Expert.
