Registrations Are Open For The XV International Congress On Human Rights

Registrations are now open for the 15th edition of the International Congress on Human Rights, with the theme: FOR A MORE ACCESSIBLE AND EFFECTIVE JUSTICE IN DEFENSE OF HUMAN RIGHTS. The event is being held by the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins, through the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) in partnership with the Federal University of the State of Tocantins (UFT), and organized by the Master's Program in Judicial Provision and Human Rights. The Congress will take place from September 13th to 15th, in the auditorium of the Court of Justice, in the city of Palmas (TO).

One thousand vacancies are being offered in a hybrid format, with face-to-face sessions for those registered in the city of Palmas and live broadcasts for those registered from other locations and countries. The program will include oral presentations of academic work by students from the STRICTO SENSU programs of Esmat; posters by undergraduate students from universities in the State of Tocantins; thematic panels by speakers from Brazil, France, Japan, Egypt, Mexico, Colombia and Spain; opening lectures; and in-person mini-courses that will take place at Esmat on the first day of the Congress. When registering, you can choose to take part in the Congress alone or choose one of the four in-person mini-courses on offer, remembering that by registering for the mini-course, you will already be duly registered for the Congress.
