The district of Colinas do Tocantins receives, this week, the Training of Exhibitors from the Workshop on Parenting and Divorce, an initiative that integrates the policy of proper treatment of conflicts of the National Council of Justice (CNJ). The programming began this Wednesday (Feb 11th), with the theoretical stage, which follows until Friday (Feb 13th), from 2 to 6 p.m.
The training aims to prepare professionals to conduct workshops aimed at parents in separation process, with a focus on the integral protection of children and adolescents.
The training brings together 12 students and it is led by the learning facilitator and advisor of the Permanent Center for Consensual Methods of Conflict Resolution (Nupemec), Lorena Gutierrez.
At this stage, the content is based on the Booklet of the Instructor, available on the WEBSITE of the CNJ. The material guides the conduct of workshops and defines pedagogical and methodological guidelines. On Thursday and Friday (Feb 12th and 13th), full-time (from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.), the participants will deepen their understanding of responsible parenting.
Among the addressed topics are effective communication between parents and children, with a focus on active listening and conflict resolution; establishment of boundaries and positive discipline; understanding of child development and physical, emotional and cognitive needs of the children; promotion of self-esteem and emotional support; parental cooperation after separation or divorce; stress management and strengthening of the parenting skills; building of healthy routines, such as proper nutrition, sleep, and school supervision; and partnership between parents and teachers for academic and social development.
The training also includes clarifications on the Regulation of Capacity-Building Actions and the Database of the Policy for the Adequate Treatment of Conflicts of the CNJ, especially the articles 34 to 48 and the article 53, which ensures technical and normative alignment with the performance of future exhibitors.
