Today, August 18th, the registrations for the course on Update on Custody Hearing, promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) and aimed to magistrates, civil servers of the Judiciary, Seciju professionals who work at APEC and members of the Monitoring and Supervision Group of the Prison System and Execution of Socio-educational Measures (GMF).
With a start scheduled for next Tuesday, August 26th, with the first WEBCLASS, from 9am to 11am, the training will be held in distance mode, with a total workload of 45 class hours, extending until September 30th.
The course aims to improve the institution of custody hearings in the state of Tocantins, so that it is consolidated as an instrument for controlling the legality of any act of detention and therefore also for regulating the entrance door of the prison system.
Coordinated by Judge José Eustáquio Melo Júnior, the activities will include the participation of eight professors and address key issues for improving judicial practice and protecting rights in the context of detentions.
