Theoretical And Practical Course On Judicial Reorganization Ends This Friday (March 15th)

Judges and advisors from the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins who registered in the course on "Theory and Procedural Practice in Judicial Reorganization" took part in the last day of training activities on Friday morning (March 15th). The theme of the closing session was "Preventive and Repressive Conduct for the Control of Actions Tending to Undermine the Objectives of Judicial Reorganization/Bankruptcy (Professional Experience)", and it was led by Judge Herisberto e Silva Furtado Caldas, the course coordinator.

The training began on February 23rd and it was held in person at the premises of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), with a total workload of 32 hours. Daniel Carnio Costa, Bruno Oliveira Castro and Jéssica Peixoto de Farias also taught the course.

In a statement, Judge Herisberto highlighted how the course managed to achieve all the proposed objectives. "When we were approached to develop the course on judicial reorganization and bankruptcy and, after listening to civil servers, Judges, Lawyers and Court Administrators, we realized that it should meet three main objectives: a) the lessons should be more practical; b) the course should offer the experience of various professionals, such as the court administrator and the specific work of Judges in the area of judicial reorganization; c) the lessons should have a special focus on agribusiness, a driving force in our State. I believe that the final result was able to meet the objectives initially proposed," he commented.
