On Monday (November 6th), the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) began the ESG Methodologies - Environmental, Social and Governance - in the Public Sector course. The training, which is in its second year, is aimed at civil servers from the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins. With a workload of 24 hours, the course continues until November 24th, in person, with one more theoretical class.
At the end of the training, the registered students will have a more practical part in which they will have to carry out a model project and present it to the facilitator João Ornato Benigno Brito.
The course aims to promote the knowledge and applicability of the ESG methodology in public institutions aligned with the objectives of Sustainable Development through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) actions, contributing to the sustainable performance and the dissemination of best corporate governance practices, in the current context of global complexities, uncertainties and technological transformations at an extraordinarily fast pace.
