The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) is open for registration for the course on Theory and Practice on the Dosimetry of the Penalty, which will be held from May 31st to June 2nd, 2023. The course aims to deepen the knowledge of magistrates and advisors from the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins about the dosimetry of the penalty, an essential topic in the scope of Criminal Law.
Registrations are already available and they will run until May 19th, 2023. It is important to emphasize that the priority target audience is magistrates and advisors from the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins. There will be 50 places available for the course. You can register clicking here

With a total class load of 20 hours, the training will be given in a classroom setting, at the facilities of Esmat. Professor Thales Flores Taipina will be responsible for the classes.
The course will be divided into five modules, covering the following topics: Introductory Considerations and Principles; The Basis of the Penal Sentence; Dosimetry of the Penalty; Application of the Penalty; and Decision Making Content of the Penalty and Final Provisions.
