The School of Judges of Tocantins (ESMAT) opens, this Thursday (3rd) until September 23rd, the registration for the III Class of the course Suplementary Health - Challenges and Solutions. 80 vacancies are being offered to magistrates linked to the Justice Court of Pernambuco. The registrations will be made by the Academic System of the School of Judges of Tocantins (SAV/ESMAT), based on the information published in its own Notice.
The course will be held through technical cooperation between the Institute of Supplementary Health Studies (IESS) and the Justice Court of Justice of Tocantins, in partnership with the Justice Court of Pernambuco, considering the need to develop the training of magistrates and staff of the Brazilian Judiciary with a focus on the judicialization of supplementary health and its developments. The course will have judges Silvio Romero Beltrão and Elio Braz Mendes, from the Justice Court of Pernambuco as tutors.
Composed of eight Modules - virtual rooms - in which will be available video-classes, texts for reading, forums for discussions with the participation of tutors, motivating and guiding students, promoting proper feedback and discursive assessment, objective issues and continuous evaluation. The course will be accompanied by tutors who will perform their duties as described in the schedule: 4 hours of environment class; 18 hours of class for video classes; 36 hours of class for interactive and evaluative activities; and 2 hours of class for reaction evaluation. Among the topics covered, the global pandemic of COVID-19 will be addressed with discussions on Pandemic Coronavirus - general aspects -; Supplementary Health - risks arising from the pandemic; National Agency of Supplementary Health - role during the pandemic -; Telemedicine and Telehealth - Positive Aspects and Conflicts - among others.
An interdisciplinary team of professors will compose the course, and the activities will be taught by: Angelica Carlini - PhD in Political and Economic Law, from Mackenzie and PhD in Education, from PUC/SP; Rogério Scarabel Barbosa - Master in Law, from Gama Filho University; Ana Carolina Morozowski - judge from the 3rd Federal Court of Curitiba and specialist in Health; Gonzalo Vecina Neto - Master in Administration, from EAESP/FGV. José Cechin - Master in Electrical Engineering and in Economics, from Unicamp. Ana Carolina Maia - PhD and Master in Economic Theory, from UFMG. Marcos Paulo Novais Silva - Master in Applied Economics, from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora. Daniel Junqueira de Souza Tostes - federal attorney, currently general attorney of the National Supplementary Health Agency. Clenio Jair Schulze - PhD and Master in Legal Science, from Univali. Cesar Felipe Cury - TJRJ Judge; Master and Doctorate in Law. Arnaldo Hossepian Salles Lima Junior - São Paulo Public Prosecutor. Natalia Pires de Vasconcelos - PhD and Master in Constitutional Law.
