Aiming to provide knowledge through the application of in-depth concepts, providing guidance on actions to prevent crimes against children and adolescents on the Internet and to promote the safe use of the Internet, with a focus on ONLINE rights and duties, CYBERBULLYING, ONLINE sexuality, digital safety, and well-being and mental health on the Internet, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), together with the Office of the General Inspector of Justice, will hold, between February 17th and April 20th, the Educating for good choices ONLINE - Classes I and II -, intended for male and female employees, accredited men and women of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, and for male and female employees of the Executive Branch of the State of Tocantins, linked to the State Department of Education, Youth, and Sports. In total, 250 vacancies will be offered, in two specific classes.
The course is a resulto f the Project Citizenship on the CGJUS/TO Network 5.0, through the Cooperation Agreement between the Court of Justice, CGJUS, the State Education Secretariat (SEDUC) and SaferNet Brazil, signed last December. SaferNet Brazil is a civil association under private Law, operating nationwide, without profit or economic purposes, and with no political, party, religious or racial ties. Founded on December 20th, 2005, its focus is to promote and defend Human Rights on the Internet in Brazil.
Among the topics covered in the course are: offering a grounding in Internet rights and duties based on the Civil Mark of Internet and the Child and Adolescent Statute; demystifying the safe and conscientious use of the Internet as a subject only for computer professionals; providing participants with guidelines for preventing and confronting situations of discrimination and intimidation (CYBERBULLYING) and ONLINE sexual violence (NUDES leak and grooming), among others.
