The registrations for the Webinar Structural and Institutional Racism: Dialogues in the Justice System of Tocantins are open, from this Thursday 6th to May 13th, 2021. The event takes place on May 13th, from 8 am, the Day of the Abolition of Slavery, requested by Judge Renata do Nascimento e Silva, in the format of a Webinar, in view of the impossibility resulting from the pandemic.
1,500 vacancies are being offered to magistrates and employees of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, prosecutors and employees of the State Prosecution, Public Defenders and employees of the Public Defender's Office of the State of Tocantins, lawyers working in the state of Tocantins, and society in general.
With a classload of 4 hours, the Webinar will be transmitted through Esmat's Virtual Learning Environment, as well as through the School's page on YouTube. The goal is to awaken and strengthen the awareness of all operators of the Justice System of the State of Tocantins about the importance of combating and eliminating racial inequalities and to value the importance and richness of a Judiciary with strength in racial representation, so as to create and strengthen institutionalized speech spaces with a pluralistic approach and consolidation of public policies that contribute to the eradication of racism and the most diverse forms of discrimination, in addition to awaken and motivate everyone to study, have an active voice and join forces, will and purpose of equality in rights and duties.
