About LIIARES
Located at the headquarters of Esmat, LIIARES was created with the purpose of boosting applied scientific research, technological innovation and continuous training of magistrates, civil servers and professionals of the Justice System, through Artificial Intelligence. Idealized from the institutional commitment of Justice Marco Villas Boas, general director of the School and president of the Permanent College of Directors of State Schools of the Magistracy (Copedem), the Laboratory is the first of its kind institutionalized within a Judicial School in Brazil.
The initiative results from a collective construction involving TJTO, UFT and the University of the state of São Paulo (USP), with administrative and financial management carried out by the Scientific and Technological Support Foundation of the state of Tocantins (FAPTO), consolidating a strategic structure focused on scientific development and modernization of Justice.
