On Wednesday, June 25th, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) began the internal audit of its Quality Management System (QMS), based on the requirements of the ABNT NBR ISO 9001:2015 standard. The audit, which runs until the 27th aims to assess the compliance of institutional processes with the criteria established to ensure excellence in the provision of educational services aimed at improving the Judiciary.
Conducted by lead auditor Cassiana Klebis Bovo, the audit takes place on a sample basis, focusing on the critical processes identified based on the results of previous audits and the Quality Manual of the institution. The methodology applied includes interviews, document analysis and verification of evidence in the teaching, administrative and support sectors.
For Ana Beatriz de Oliveira Pretto, executive director of Esmat, this activity represents the consolidation of the procedure for managing the quality of the services provided by the School.
“This year we celebrate 10 years since ISO was implemented at Esmat. It has been a transformative process, which has brought a degree of excellence to our activities and contributed to standardize procedures, ensuring greater transparency and effectiveness in fulfilling the institutional mission of the School," she said.
Programming
The audit programming includes all the centers that are part of the scope of certification: Training and Further Training, Training Centers for judges and civil servers, Post Graduate Studies Center, Publishing and Communication, administrative and financial support sectors, Library, Academic Secretariat, and Management.
