On Thursday (March 14th), the library of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) announced that 383 copies of books related to the area of law were available for donation. All the books are in excellent condition and can be picked up free of charge by anyone.
Those interested can check out the list of available books in advance clicking here or go directly to the library and then pick them up.
Justification
These books are part of a basic collection acquired a few years ago to meet the needs of the courts in the interior of the State of Tocantins. However, with digital advances and constant updates to legislation, many of these copies ended up being returned to Esmat. Instead of discarding them immediately, the School decided to share this material with the community, offering an opportunity for law students and professionals to enrich their legal knowledge.
The books will be available for collection for a period of 30 days. After this period, any copies that have not been picked up will be sent for conscientious disposal, following the appropriate environmental protocols.
In the week that marks the Librarian's Day (March 12th), the librarian of Esmat, Cynthia Valéria, highlights the importance of this opportunity for the community, which always contributes to the collecting campaigns of the school.
