The deadline for submitting scientific articles to be published in the scientific journal Interface Law and Society, published by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Mato Grosso (Esmagis-MT), is still ongoing. The articles submitted, which must be unpublished, will make up the first edition of the publication, which will be launched in July.
According to the General Director of Esmagis-MT, Justice Helena Maria Bezerra Ramos, the aim of the publication is to encourage academic affinities among magistrates, exchanges with civil society and recognition of the training and production of Judges as an essential element in the production of better-prepared decisions and, consequently, the legitimization of judicial action before society.
The topics of the articles are in line with the approach of the journal, related to Law, Sociology and Philosophy, and the deadline for submission is June 16th, 2024.

The aim of the School, emphasized Justice Helena Maria, is to disseminate legal knowledge as a result of scientific studies and productions by academics, magistrates and members of the Brazilian justice system.
The magistrate emphasized the need for Esmagis to contribute to the improvement of the Justice System through the publication of scientific and academic works by jurists on topics relevant to the Brazilian Judiciary, as well as sharing studies and knowledge from the academic-scientific community, "contributing to the advancement of a more conscious society transformed by knowledge, to foster studies on topics relevant to the management of justice and the provision of justice, as well as encouraging reflection on the training and improvement of magistrates."
