Magistrates, civil servers and trainees of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins participated on this Thursday (October 2nd), in the Workshop on Collective Elaboration of Operational Flow in Cases of Sexual Harassment, Moral Harassment and Discrimination. The activity, promoted by the Directorate of People Management (Digep), in partnership with the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), integrated the project on "Justice in Dialogue" and focused on the collective construction of protocols and flows for care and treatment of situations of harassment and discrimination in the institutional environment.
The opening of the event was held by Justice Ângela Issa Haonat, deputy director of ESMAT and president of the Commission for the Prevention and Tackling of Moral Harassment, Sexual Harassment and Discrimination in the 2nd Degree of the TJTO. In her speech, she highlighted the institutional commitment to create an ethical and respectful environment free of abusive practices.
“This Workshop is not an isolated event, but the materialization of an ethical vocation of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins, which fully harmonizes with the spirit of the Resolution 351 of the CNJ of 2020. We seek to ensure, for each magistrate, civil server, trainee and collaborator, a dignified, healthy and inclusive working environment, absolutely free of abusive practices", she pointed out.
The workshop was conducted by Labor Judge Adriana Manta da Silva, a magistrate of the TRT (Regional Labor Court) from the 5th Region (State of Bahia), researcher and expert in anti-discrimination law. The professor structured the methodology based on previous taps with the teams of the TJTO, elaborating a practical and collaborative proposal of internal flow construction.
“This workshop is the result of a series of trainings and dialogues with the TJTO. I noticed, throughout the interventions, very specific needs related to the treatment of harassment complaints. The proposal was to create a space for listening and collective construction, in which the own civil servers involved with the theme could map the potentialities and difficulties and plan concrete solutions. We seek to look in a diagnostic way and develop proposals that strengthen the policy of coping with harassment, always in alignment with the Resolution 351 of the CNJ of 2020", she explained.
During the meetings, the participants discussed proposals for institutional organization that include reception, referral, registration and treatment of complaints, considering the organizational context and the challenges of virtualization of work.
