With the objective of enabling the understanding, by the members of the school community, of the deep and transformative conception of Restorative Justice, in the three dimensions of coexistence and Education for Peace, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) will hold, between July 31st and August 4th, 2023, the Week of Awareness of the Restorative Justice in Schools. Registrations will be carried out through the nomination of professionals from each institution or body.
The activities take place at Esmat, on July 31st, with civil servers and/or servers participating in the State Management Committee of the Restorative Justice Macro Management Center in the State of Tocantins; civil servers and/or servers of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins; magistrates of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins; civil servers and/or servers of Seduc - TO; servers and/or employees of the State Prosecution Office; servers and/or employees of the Defender's Office; servers and/or employees of the Guardianship Council; servers and/or employees of the Regional Superintendence of Education, and in the Schools contemplated with the sensitization stage of the Project on Introducing Restorative Justice in the Education System: a partnership between the Justice System and the Community, at Frederico José Pedreira State School, on August 1st; at Tiradentes High School Center, on August 2nd; at Castro Alves High School Center, on August 3rd; and at Girassol Full-Time State College Rachel de Queiroz, on August 4th.
The program aims to sensitize members of the Judiciary, the Education Network, the Rights Guarantee Network and other sectors of the community in order to guarantee support and setting for the implementation of the Restorative Justice project in schools and precedes the National Meeting of Restorative Justice in Education, which will take place from August 23rd to 25th, in the auditorium of the Court of Justice, with great international names of the Restorative Justice in Education.
