With a focus on the qualification of management and strengthening of the performance of the offices of 2nd Instance, the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), through the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), began this Tuesday (March 3rd), the course: Judicial Administration Applied to 2nd Instance Offices.
The training takes place in the Distance Learning Education (EaD) modality and it will continue until June 2nd, with a total workload of 36 hours per class. The web classes, divided into thematic axes and eleven modules, have the participation of Post-Doc Carlos Henrique Borlido Haddad and PhD student Luis Antonio Capanema Pedrosa.
Aimed at justices and civil servers who work in offices, the course addresses the administration of routines and processes from a practical perspective, aligned with the demands of productivity, organization and decision-making in the second degree of jurisdiction.
The programming includes web lessons and activities in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA), with topics that cover situational diagnosis, office organization, management of trial and precedent sessions, productivity and use of Eproc as a management tool.
At the opening, the president of the TJTO, Justice Maysa Vendramini Rosal, highlighted the importance of consolidating a management culture applied to everyday work.
“We came to the conclusion that we need to act as managers of our own work. I believe it will be extremely productive, as it will contribute to improve our judicial provision, making it more effective and agile," she said.
The course is coordinated by Judge Ana Paula Brandão Brazil, who highlighted the role of the training as a space for learning and exchange of experiences among the participants.
“It represents an opportunity to improve the judicial provision, with quality work, promptness and speed, reaching our target audience, which are the citizens who knock on the doors of Justice", she noted.
Also coordinator of the activity, the civil server Glacielle Torquato commented on the satisfaction in resuming the partnership with the visiting professors and the expectation of learning throughout the training. "It is a joy to have them with us again. (...). I am sure it will be months of much learning for our students at the School of the Judges", she added.
During the opening, Professor Carlos Henrique emphasized the already consolidated partnership between the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins and the collaborative character of the course. "TJTO is already a partner for many years in training activities, especially in the first degree, and now we have the satisfaction to contribute also with the second instance. This course was conceived as a space for exchange of experiences and sharing of good practices among the offices. The participation of each one will be fundamental so that we can build solutions that contribute to better results and a more balanced work environment", he said.
In his speech, Professor Luis Antonio pointed out that efficient management of offices requires constant observation of indicators and systematic monitoring of work routines.
“When we think about management, it is inevitable to draw an analogy with the instrument panel of a vehicle. Each office functions as a system that needs to be conducted with attention to its indicators. By observing data such as the processing time of cases or those that have been paralyzed for the longest time, we can identify details that often go unnoticed. This monitoring contributes to improve the organization of work and, consequently, the quality of service provided to the court," he explained.
