The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) announces the rectification of the Notice nº 102, of 2023, referring to the course on "Decision Making and Technology", which will take place from August 3rd to September 12th, 2023. The rectification involves changes in the course objective, registration deadline, and expansion of the target audience. Register at clicking here.
With the changes, 50 vacancies will now be available for magistrates and legal advisors from the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, as well as vacancies destined for the National School for Training and Improvement of Magistrates (ENFAM). If the vacancies destined for the target public are not filled, the remaining vacancies may be distributed according to the requests forwarded to the Course Coordination, by means of the e-mail
The course aims to develop the necessary skills to understand and apply, in judicial activities, neuroscientific propositions, especially with regard to brain-machine interfaces combined with artificial intelligence. Issues such as the right to free will, the right to mental privacy, and protection against algorithmic biases will also be addressed.
