This Monday morning (May 29th) was marked by the beginning of the course on Ethics in Research and Elaboration of Projects on the Brazil Platform. The event, which brought together students, researchers, teachers and servers of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, aims to train participants on the use of the Brazil Platform and the development of research projects, in accordance with the resolutions of the National Health Council. With a certification workload of 24 hours, the activities take place until June 12th in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA-Esmat) and in the GOOGLE MEET Platform.
This first opening WEB CLASS addressed two essential themes. The first, led by the learning facilitator Laisa Alves de Souza Bonilha, explored the history and function of the REC/CONEP System, allowing participants to understand the history, objectives, and attributions of the Research Ethics Committee (REC) and its relationship with researchers. Next, Raisa Breda Toso Sfalsini took on the role of facilitator to discuss the regulatory marks of the IRB/CONEP System, highlighting the current norms and resolutions for research involving human beings, as well as the methodological and regulatory specifications for research in the fields of Health and Applied Social Sciences.
