The second class of the Basic Life Support course will have its activities held this Friday (May 19th). Promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), the action aims to train those registered on how to act in situations that require immediate help until the arrival of health services.
Held in person, the course has a workload of 4 hours and takes place at the Auditorium of Esmat. Aimed at the employees and magistrates of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins, the training aims to provide essential knowledge to deal with medical emergencies.
This second class follows in the footsteps of the first, which took place on May 12th. With a total of 25 places for each class, the course covers important topics, such as first aid principles, basic life support for cardiopulmonary arrest victims, first aid for fainting, convulsions, and choking, in addition to dealing with bleeding, hemorrhaging, and burn victims. The learning facilitators responsible for the course are Elaine Cristina Ferreira and Regiane Rodrigues Peixoto, specialists in the area.
