Applied judicial administration (aja) course - advanced level has started

Aiming to provide participants with practical learning in the administration of judicial units, the Applied Judicial Administration course (AJA) - Advanced Level - had its classes started this Wednesday (April 27th), in the distance learning modality. With a course load of 50 hours, the training is a realization of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) and continues until June 23rd of this year.

225 vacancies were offered to magistrates, and permanent, commissioned, and/or assigned employees of the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins who completed the first stage of the Applied Judicial Administration course. The classes are being taught by professors Carlos Henrique Borlido Haddad and Luis Antonio Capanema Pedrosa.

 

About the professors

Carlos Henrique Borlido Haddad

Graduated in Law from the Law School of UFMG, 1995. M.A. in 1999 and Ph.D. in 2003 in Criminal Sciences from the University of Michigan, USA. He is currently a federal Judge - Federal Court of the State of Minas Gerais - and an adjunct professor at the Law School of UFMG. He has experience in the area of Law, with emphasis on Criminal Law and Procedure. He also works in the areas of Administration of Justice, with focus on techniques of procedural acceleration and case management, and the Training of Judges, certified by the École Nationale de La Magistrature (National School of the Magistrature), France.

Luis Antonio Capanema Pedrosa

PhD candidate in Operations Management, by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA. Master in Precision Mechanics, by Kyoto University, Japan. Graduated in Electronic Engineering from Aeronautical Technological Institute (ITA), SP. He was the Superintendent of Industrial Process Engineering at Usiminas; Superintendent Director at Troller and Quality and Marketing Development at Unibanco. Consulted for EDS Corporation in Japan and Anderson Consulting, SP. Associate professor at Dom Cabral Foundation. Director and President of Marpel Consulting.
