The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) started, on Wednesday (9th), in the morning and afternoon, the activities of the first module of the course on the Practical Application of Judicial Precedents in the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins.
For Justice Angela Issa Haonat, the action will serve as a contribution to the effectiveness of the judicial provision in the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins. "The course will certainly contribute to a more effective judicial provision, especially regarding the need for uniformity, stability, and coherence of the decisions in the courts, so that their effects promote legal security and enrich the entire legal system", she said.
With a class load of 24 hours, the training continues to be taught by Professor Marcelo Ornellas Marchiori until Module II, which ends this Thursday (10th). On this first and second day, themes related to the practical aspects of the techniques of formation of qualified precedents provided in the Civil Procedure Code of 2015 were discussed.
The course continues until Friday (11th), and it will be given by professor Vinicius Teixeira de Siqueira, who will discuss the Incidents of Repetitive Claim Resolution and the Incident of Assumption of Jurisdiction - from the opening to the judgment.
