The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) and the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) announce the 1st Jud Tocantins Pop Street Task Force, an initiative that seeks to mobilize Judges, civil servers, interns and other volunteer professionals to participate in citizenship and social inclusion actions. The event will take place on November 22nd, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Maria dos Reis Barros State School, in the Taquari sector, in the city of Palmas (TO).
Registrations
Judges, civil servers and trainees, active or inactive, from the Judiciary of the State of Tocantins and from partner institutions formalized by the Technical Cooperation Agreement No. 6 of 2024 can apply.

Activities and goals
The task force aims to provide legal, health and social assistance to the homeless population, as well as promoting citizenship and leisure activities. The main activities include:
- Screening and welcoming those being assisted
- Legal and health support
- Social actions such as the “Father Present” project
- Distribution of hygiene kits and clothes through the “Solidary Hanger”
- Conversation groups on topics such as domestic violence
Training of the volunteers
Participants will undergo a 2-hour training session on November 19th at 2pm in the auditorium of the TJTO. The training will be organized by Esmat and it will offer specific guidance on customer service and event logistics.
Certification and additional information
Volunteers will receive a certificate of participation issued by Esmat. Transportation, food and T-shirts will be the responsibility of the institutions linked to the participants.
