In Brasília, Magistrates From The State Of Tocantins Participate In The 6th National Meeting Of Black Judges (ENAJUN)

Judge Renata do Nascimento e Silva and José Ribamar Mendes Júnior, an associate judge of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), are taking part in the 6th National Meeting of Black Judges (Enajun) between the 22nd and 24th of this month. The program also includes the 3rd National Forum of Judges Against Racism and All Forms of Discrimination (Fonajurd). The event takes place in Brasília-DF, in the building of the Superior Court of Labor (TST). 

On this occasion, jurists and specialists in History, Sociology, Literature and Education will discuss topics such as racism and colonialism, affirmative action, racism in contemporary times, the right of black people to life, land and the city and the trajectory of this struggle of the population, including their participation in the National Constituent Assembly.

Among the prominent speakers at the meeting are the General Director of the National Archives Ana Flávia Magalhães, Ynaê Lopes dos Santos, who holds a master's degree and PhD in Social History and is a professor at the Fluminense Federal University, Rodrigo Ednilson, who holds a master's degree in Sociology, Aza Njeri, Samara Pataxó, who holds a master's degree in Law, human rights Activist Lúcia Xavier, Political Scientist Danilo Serejo, Journalist Tiago Rogero, Director of affirmative action policies at the Ministry of Racial Equality Anna Carolina Venturini and Advisor to the Department of Mental Health, Alcohol and other Drugs at the Ministry of Health Rachel Gouveia.
