The programming of the Week of Excellence Management began on Tuesday (April 14th), an initiative carried out by the General Internal Affairs of Justice (CGJUS) and the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) with the aim of strengthening the management of the judicial units in the state of Tocantins. The proposal, coordinated by Judge Manuel de Faria Reis Neto, is to train magistrates and civil servers in statistical data analysis and agile methodologies, contributing to more strategic decisions and continuous improvement of institutional results.

At the opening, the general chief of Justice, Judge Pedro Nelson de Miranda Coutinho defined the action as "an initiative that highlights how much qualified management is essential for the continuous improvement of judicial provision". By highlighting the centrality of people in the functioning of the Judiciary, the judge reinforced that

“the Judiciary is made from people to people”.

The statement was accompanied by the defense of an institutional action that combines humanization and management by skills, with permanent appreciation and qualification of magistrates and civil servers, as a path to a Justice more sensitive to the demands of society and more aligned with the principle of efficiency.

The judge also drew attention to the role of innovation in improving judicial activity. When mentioning the performance of the General Internal Affairs, he highlighted that "under the motto of resolutiveness and innovation", CGJUS management has encouraged the modernization of working methods and the intelligent use of technology as a tool to support the continuous improvement of judicial provision. In the same vein, he noted that the ongoing transformation requires more than just adopting new tools.

For him, it is necessary to "rethink practices, strengthen management and ensure that innovation is always at the service of people and the effectiveness of Justice”.
