The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) holds, from February 19th to March 20th, the fourteenth class of the course on Financial Education for Consumers - My Accounts Up to Date at Cejusc (Judicial Centers for Conflict Resolution and Citizenship). The training is coordinated by Judge Umbelina Lopes Pereira Rodrigues and it has, according to the Notice n° 008 of 2026, a specific target audience.
With a 20-hour class load and semi-classroom format, the course combines activities in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA) of Esmat with face-to-face meetings at Cejusc Ulbra, in the city of Palmas. The proposal is to offer financial education and psychosocial guidance, helping the participants in the organization of personal finances and the construction of strategies for debt rearrangement, in accordance with the Law no 14.181, of 2021, which deals with the prevention and treatment of over indebtedness.
The programming includes modules on financial education, consumer behavior, protection and defense of consumers and entrepreneurship, with practical activities and pedagogical accompaniment throughout the course, reinforcing the commitment of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins with access to Justice and the promotion of financial citizenship.
