Training Aims To Transform Service In The Judiciary Of The State Of Tocantins Through Inclusion And Empathy

The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) will be promoting, in the months of October and November, two classes of the course on Assistance to People with Disabilities and Neurodiversities. The training, offered in distance learning mode and with a workload of 20 hours, focuses on strengthening inclusive practices in the Justice System.

The classes will be conducted through the GOOGLE MEET Platform and the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA) of Esmat, seeking to ensure more accessibility, flexibility and reach to the participants.

The initiative is aimed especially at civil servers of the end area of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), such as receptionists, guards, military police in the service of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins and Permanent Commission for Accessibility and Inclusion (CPAI/ TJTO) and employees, and its main objective is to train professionals for qualified reception, offering practical tips, guidelines and resources that promote a more humanized service, inclusive and efficient to people with disabilities and neurodiversities who get to the institutional units.

With coordination under the responsibility of Justice Angela Issa Haonat, president of CPAI and the Commission for Prevention and Tackling with Moral, Sexual Harassment and Discrimination of the 2nd Degree (CASSEDIO2G), the first class carries out activities from October 8th to November 5th, and Monday from October 9th to November 6th. The course also has the technical coordination of the civil server Patricia Idehara, executive secretary of CPAI.
