Esmat And TJTO Join The National Project For Dissemination Of Human Rights Documents

The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT) is part of the "Connections in Human Rights Collection" project, an initiative aimed at democratizing access to documents produced by the Inter-American System of Human Rights in Portuguese. The accession takes place within the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), which becomes a partner institution of the project.

The initiative is coordinated by the Superior School of the Prosecution Office of the Union (ESMPU), in cooperation with the National Council of Public Prosecutors (CNMP) and the National Council of Justice (CNJ), and it has as its main objective free translation, the layout and wide dissemination of documents prepared by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.

With the accession, TJTO and Esmat commit to collaborate with the internalization of these contents in Brazil, expanding access for the Judiciary, civil servers, law operators, researchers and from society in general to fundamental international references for the promotion and protection of human rights.
