The Permanent College of Directors of State Schools of the Magistracy (Copedem) held, on September 11th, the first edition of the Copedem Dialogues project, an initiative that marks the 20th anniversary of the institution.
With the theme on "Justice and Economy: Paths for a Brazil with Legal Security, Innovation and Sustainable Development", the event will be held from 3pm to 7pm at the Royal Tulip Brasilia Alvorada Hotel.
The proposal is to bring together magistrates, business leaders, public sector representatives and experts for a qualified and multidisciplinary listening on the strategic challenges involving justice, economy and sustainability in contemporary Brazil.

Programming
The programming will be composed of three interactive panels, focusing on technological innovation, national economic scenario and legal security in sectors such as Health, Insurance and Environment.
Among the confirmed names are ministers of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ), members of the National Congress, executives from Microsoft, iFood, BNDES (National Bank for Economic and Social Development), Eletrobrás (electric power generation and transmission company from Brazil and Latin America), Febraban (Brazilian Federation of Banks), Rede D'Or (groups of private hospitals in Brazil), CNseg (National Confederation of General Insurance Companies, Private Pension and Life, Supplementary Health and Capitalization) and representatives of research centers in public policies.
The opening will be attended by Justice Marco Villas Boas, president of Copedem and general director of the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), Minister João Otávio de Noronha (STJ) and former Senator Kátia Abreu. The closing will be conducted by Minister Benedito Gonçalves (STJ (Superior Court of Justice) and Enfam (National School for the Training and Improvement of Magistrates)).

The event is an accomplishment of Copedem, with support from Esmat and the Legal Memory Center - Memory -, and it inaugurates a series of national meetings aimed at building institutional solutions for a fairer, more innovative and sustainable country.
XII legal CONGRESS On SUPPLEMENTARY HEALTH
Following the activities of dissemination of legal knowledge, on September 12th it will be held the XII Legal Congress on Supplementary Health. The programming will include four panels that will address topics such as maturing of the Brazilian legal landscape, consequentialism and economics of law, combating fraud in supplementary health and the use of tools to support judicial decisions. Ministers of the STJ, experts in health law, representatives of the ANS (National Agency for Supplementary Health ) and entities from the supplementary sector attend it.
The Congress is promoted in partnership with the Institute for Supplementary Health Studies (IESS) and it expands the debate on the impacts of judicial decisions on the health system, focusing on efficient, ethical and sustainable solutions for the sector.
