
The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), in partnership with the Institute for Supplementary Health Studies (IESS), holds on Friday, August 1st, the IV Symposium on "Law and Health: focus on the judicialization of health". The event will be held in the auditorium of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), in the city of Palmas, starting at 8 am.

With the participation of national authorities and experts from the Medical and Legal areas, the symposium proposes a qualified debate on the impacts of health judicialization and alternatives for a safer, transparent and efficient action.
The programming includes panels on supplementary health, regulation, artificial intelligence, ANS/SUS role and scientific evidence in judicial decision-making. Among the confirmed names are the ministers of the STJ Ricardo Villas Bôas Cueva and Antonio Saldanha Palheiro; the federal Judge João Pedro Gebran Neto, coordinator of the National Health Forum of the CNJ, as well as representatives of the ANS and experts in Medical Law, Regulation and Audit.
