With a high participation and questions about the promotion of a culture of peace, the 5th Seminar on Public Policies for Adequate Treatment of Conflicts and 6th Meeting of the Judicial Centers for Conflict Resolution (CEJUSCs), pro,oted by the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins, (NUPEMEC) in partnership with the Superior School of Magistrates of the State of Tocantins (ESMAT), discussed, this Friday afternoon (8th), consensual mechanisms for conflict resolution.
At the opening of the Event, Judge João Guimarães Rigo, president of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins, reinforced the importance of the multiplicity of debates that integrate conflict resolution. "This Seminar will debate themes related to the management and treatment of conflicts and mediation, in the light of the legal paradigms implemented in Brazil", he stated. The magistrate Odete Batista, president of Asmeto and member of the Institutional and Academic Council of Esmat, reinforced the importance of society's participation in debates and conflict resolution. "Conciliation already recognizes that not only law operators and the National Council of Justice are concerned about the topic, but they also need to move towards effectiveness in conflict resolution," she said.
The Programming aimed to enable participants to exchange experiences that can contribute to the improvement and refinement of the activities developed, focused on conflict resolution, and to foster self-composition and the use of its methods. In the discussion agenda of the simultaneous events, themes were approached, such as: Family Constellation; Conflict Mediation in Large Enterprises; Participation of Social Actors and Representative Entities with a Place to Speak and Act, among other subjects.
