Esmat Promotes A Course On Foster Family And Reassessment Of Protective Measures

The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) will hold, from April 16th to May 7th, 2026, the course on Child and Adolescent Care in Foster Family Services (SFA): the role of the technical teams of the Judiciary in the Reassessment of the Protective Measure, with a 12-hour workload and offer in the EaD (Distance Learning) mode. The activity was planned to strengthen the work of the Multidisciplinary Teams of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins in reassessing the protective measure of family care, focusing on the provisory nature of the measure and ensuring the family and community coexistence of children and adolescents.

Aimed at civil servers and professionals graduated in Psychology, Social Work and Pedagogy, accredited in the Management Group of Multidisciplinary Teams (GGEM) and active in the Program on Foster Family Services, the course offers 70 vacancies. The registrations take place from March 26th to April 10th of 2026, by nomination in the SEI Process, with subsequent validation by the Academic Secretariat of Esmat. Live classes are scheduled for April 16th, 23rd and 30th, always from 2pm to 4pm.

The programming will be developed through the Virtual Learning Environment of Esmat (AVA) and live web classes by the Google Meet Platform, distributed in three modules, which will address the importance of the Foster Family Service for the development of children and adolescents separated from family life, the methodological aspects and operation of the service, and the intersectoral articulation in the reassessment of the protective measure
