At the request of the Permanent Center of Consensual Methods of Conflict Resolution (Nupemec), the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) will conduct, from February 26th to May 29th, the Basic Introductory Course on Conciliation with Emphasis in the semi-presential format and with a total workload of 17 class hours.
The training, coordinated by Jjudge Silvana Maria Parfieniuk, is aimed specifically at servers of Procon (state of Tocantins). 40 vacancies are being made available, with applications made by Nupemec itself, in the period from February 5th to 18th.
With didactic organization in four theoretical modules and a stage of practical experience, the course provides classes on February 26th and 27th and, subsequently, participation as an observer in conciliation or mediation hearing, in the period from March 2nd to May 29th.
According to the Notice n° 009, of 2026, the objective of the initiative is "to train the registered parties for qualified performance in conciliation in the context of over-indebtedness, through the improvement of skills in communication, active listening, conducting individual and collective hearings of debt repayments and construction of consensual solutions, in accordance with the National Judicial Policy of Appropriate Handling of Conflicts and current legislation, contributing to the effectiveness of the Program for the Prevention and Treatment of Over-indebtedness and for strengthening access to Justice and the protection of the consumer".
The course will have a body of facilitators with practical and academic performance in the area, formed by Judge Umbelina Lopes Pereira Rodrigues, Master Liliane de Moura Borges, legal advisor Valeria Fortes Bodas and expert Adalson Adster Sousa Mendes. The practical experience stage will be supervised by the instructor Lorena da Cruz Neves Pimenta Gutierrez.
