Course On Arming And Shooting Opens Registrations For Magistrates And Military Police Of The TJTO

Magistrates and military police of the Police-Military Office of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) can sign up, from this Wednesday (October 1st), for the course on Arming and Shooting Applied to the Protection of Authorities. The Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) will develop five classes in October and November this year, with the objective of training and improving the registered in the proper and legal use of firearms, observing the techniques and tactics of shooting, as well as the correct maintenance of weapons after their use, aiming to reduce incidents involving firearms. The course is coordinated by Judge José Ribamar Mendes Júnior.

With a workload of 12 class hours per class, the classes will be divided into theory at Esmat and practice at the Shooting Club of the city of Palmas. The 20 vacancies for Class I, which will be held on October 29th and 30th  , are aimed exclusively at magistrates of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins.

The remaining classes, aimed at the military police of Asmil (Military Advisory of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins), will take place in November on the following dates: Class II – November 10th and 11th; Class III – November 17th and 18th; Class IV – November 24th and 25th; and Class V – November 26th and 27th.

For these classes, registrations take place by nomination of the Presidency, through Asmil.
