With An Extended Reach, Esmat Promotes Strategic Training In Virtual Tutoring

With a focus on innovation in distance learning and the strengthening of teaching performance, EaD (Distance Learning) Pro - Training Course for Tutors -, promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat), which seeks to qualify professionals to act as tutors in virtual learning environments. The training is recognized by the National School for Training and Improvement of Magistrates (Enfam) as level 2 of the Program on Training of Tutors, according to the Ordinance n° 221, of 2025.

With a 90-hour class load and a theoretical-practical approach, the course is structured in five modules. The next and third WEBCLASS will be held on Wednesday, August 27th, starting at 9 am. The first module, dedicated to the Planning and Structuring of the Virtual Room on the MOODLE Platform, will run until September 8th.

Aimed at professors, public servers and professionals with legal and institutional training, EaD Pro has as its proposal not only to train for the technical use of digital platforms, but also to foster a critical reflection on participatory methodologies, teaching-learning strategies and the role of a tutor as a facilitator of knowledge construction. The opening of the course, held on August 13th, was attended by the Doctor Judge Wellington Magalhães, coordinator of the training.

TRAINING WITH IMPACT ON PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

Since the first lessons, the course has mobilized the participants around a collaborative and reflexive learning. According to the server Edir Pereira dos Santos, one of the students, training goes beyond the technical aspect.

“More than training tutors and facilitators, the objective is to bring together diverse perspectives on the methodology already established. This training represents, in my opinion, a future perspective for the various courses that are yet to come", commented.

Crossing the borders of Tocantins, for Abab Nino, researcher, lawyer and assistant at the Center for Attention and Promotion to Social Justice (NAPJUS) of the Court of Justice of the State of Rio de Janeiro (TJERJ), the course represents an opportunity for technical and personal growth.

“It is very interesting to participate in the course. Having this knowledge systematized, quality, the way it has been taught, has been very relevant. The training broadens my professional range and contributes as much to my work in the Court as to other performances", he pointed out.
