Preparatory Course For Teleworking Receives Praise From Civil Servers Of The Judiciary Of The State Of Tocantins

Coordinated by Judge Arióstenis Guimarães Vieira, the 2025 edition of the Preparatory Course for Teleworking, offered as a self-instruction course and with registrations open until October 30th, has received positive reviews from participants who have already completed the training.

Aimed at judges and civil servers, the course provides guidance on carrying out activities outside the physical premises of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins, in accordance with the Resolution No. 20 of the CNJ of 2020. The training covers everything from legal and operational aspects to mental health and quality of life in remote work.

For Gabrielle Vilanova, legal advisor for the District Court of Ponte Alta do Tocantins, the experience was remarkable because of the clear content and the care taken with the well-being of the civil servers

“Everything was explained in a clear, accessible way, focusing not only on the resolutions that regulate teleworking, but also on practical tools and the well-being of the civil server. I found it very positive the care that was taken to address mental health, which is essential in this work model," she said.

Guilherme Quintino, a judicial technician in the Network Administration and Security Division (DASR), highlighted the learning about procedures and responsibilities. "The course has great content, especially on the procedures for requesting and monitoring teleworking, both from the point of view of the server who is interested and the immediate supervisor. I believe that with the course, the civil server is clear about the criteria and responsibilities required when signing up," he said.

In a statement, Fernando Ferreira Frota, a judicial analyst in the Database Division, considered the training a reference for those seeking organization and productivity in remote work. "I thought the course was very good. It clearly outlines how teleworking should work and dynamically guides the service. It gives guidance on what the environment should be like and talks about how to deal with distractions, especially family distractions," he said.

Working remotely for almost three years, Cristiane Santos Vieira, an advisor assigned to the Nacom, emphasized the practical relevance of the content.

"The course was simply excellent! The content was clear, up-to-date and very well structured, covering practical and fundamental aspects for those who work in this system. I'm grateful for the opportunity to take part and reinforce the importance of initiatives like this, which value and strengthen the public service by training civil servers," she said.

The course, promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) in partnership with the Directorate of People Management (Digep) and the Management Committee for Teleworking of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO), will be available on the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA) until November 15th.
