Class I Of The Course On Written And Strategic Communication Begins In August As Part Of The Actions Of The Management By Competences In The Judiciary Of The State Of Tocantins

As part of the strategic actions for personnel development, based on the results of the Skills Assessment carried out in 2024, within the framework of the Project on People Management by Competences, the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) promotes, in the period from August 19th to September 5th, the first class of the course on Written and Strategic Communication, aimed at servers and trainees of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins.

The training will be offered in distance mode, with synchronous classes via GOOGLE MEET and complementary activities in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA).

The course integrates the Project on People Management by Competencies, which aims to prioritize the development of people, the capture and use of talents in line with the strategic objectives of the organization, enabling the best institutional performance allied to the full personal and professional development of the workers involved, collaborating for a healthier and more productive work environment.

Competency management seeks to align the talents and skills of professionals to organizational strategies, allowing to diagnose gaps between existing and necessary competencies, which, when identified, can be supplied by training and learning actions. During the first cycle of the evaluation, carried out in 2024 with the participation of servers from the entire Judiciary of the state of Tocantins, significant gaps were detected in several competencies. 

With a total workload of 10 hours, the training is structured in four modules: language fundamentals; institutional communication; textual cohesion and coherence; and text production practice. The classes will be conducted by the facilitators Sibele Letícia Rodrigues de Oliveira Biazotto and Glacielle Borges Torquato.

The course reinforces the commitment of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins to the continuous improvement of its workforce and represents the consolidation of an initiative inaugurated in 2022, in partnership with the Organizational Behavior Management Laboratory (Gestcom), of the Federal University of the state of Pará (UFPA). The action is aligned with the Goal 19 of the Institutional Strategic Plan, which deals with the appreciation and qualification of magistrates and servers.

The second class, with notice already published, will be offered in the period from September 9th to 26th and it will follow the same participation criteria and methodology of the first. In addition to servers, may be contemplated trainees of the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins.
