Judiciary Of The State Of Tocantins Strengthens Culture Of Innovation With Training For Laboratories

With a focus on strengthening the culture of innovation in the Judiciary, this week saw the start of the course on Management and Operation of Innovation Laboratories, promoted by the Superior School of the Judges of the State of Tocantins (Esmat) in partnership with the Innovation Center (Inovassol) of the Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO). Aimed at civil servers from the Judiciary and partner bodies, the training takes place in a hybrid format and it runs until June 15th.

The course, coordinated by Judge Esmar Custodio Vencio Filho, aims to enable participants to understand the fundamentals of innovation in the public sector, develop skills aimed at working on innovative projects and apply methodologies that favor the improvement of services provided to society.

With a 40-hour workload, the activities range from theoretical aspects to organizational design, co-creation and project management practices. During the face-to-face meetings, participants delved into topics such as: Innovation in the Public Sector and the Judiciary, Laboratory Methodologies, Good Practices, and Innovation Project Management.

Facilitators Taíse Velasquez Lopes, André Luís de Aguiar Tesheiner, Ilton Gomes de Ornelas Filho and Rafaella Fagundes de Menezes shared experiences and promoted interactive exercises, based on real cases such as Labee9, from the Court of Justice of the state of Rio Grande do Sul (TJRS).

The last face-to-face activity, held on Thursday (June 12th), was marked by a practical workshop on building innovative ideas, focusing on challenges faced by the TJTO. In the afternoon, the groups presented prototypes of projects developed during the course. The ONLINE stage continues until June 15th, with the submission of an individual or pair proposal on the AVA platform.

For Claudia Torres, a judicial clerk from the Prison System Monitoring and Inspection Group (GMF), the learning is already reflected in practice: "The course is very good, with a clear and objective presentation on project construction. This will help structure the actions currently carried out by the GMF, optimizing results and reducing rework”.

“In times of technology, we are experiencing and learning from people. The course favors intellectual, personal and collective growth," said Marcelo Leal de Araujo Barreto, technical advisor to the Information Security Office of the TJTO.
